Participation Criteria, Submission Instructions & Judging Framework

 

Welcome to the official participation guide for the Real Estate Excellence Award. This page outlines all essential information for submitting your project, including eligibility criteria, required materials, category rules, judging methodology, and key dates.

 

Please review the instructions carefully to ensure your submission meets the highest standards of excellence.

 

Please note that each project must be submitted using a separate and dedicated nomination form. Multiple entries require individual submissions per project to ensure proper evaluation and categorization.

Also note that the Judging Panel reserves the right to withhold awards in any category that does not meet FIABCI standards.


 


1. Award Categories
 

We offer 20 award categories that recognize excellence across the real estate sector, as outlined below:

  • Affordable Housing

  • Environmental

  • Heritage

  • Hotel

  • Industrial

  • Master Plan

  • Office

  • Public Infrastructure

  • Purpose-Built

  • Resort

  • Residential High rise (26+ Floors)

  • Residential Mid Rise (11-25 Floors)

  • Residential Low Rise (1-10 Floors)

  • Retail

  • Sustainability

  • Mixed-Used Development

  • Facilities Management

  • Financing and Funding

  • Real Estate Supply Chain

  • Proptech

 

2. Recognition Levels

  • Gold Award – Representing the highest achievement in real estate excellence.

  • Silver Award – Recognizing distinguished merit and innovation.

 

3. Who can apply

Submissions may be made by:

  • Property owners or project developers

  • Real estate professionals (e.g., architects, operators) with written authorization from the owner

4. Submission Requirements
 

Each entry must include:

  • Project brochure or profile

  • Copy of the Land Title Document

  • For Master Plan or Mixed-Use: Master/Layout Plan

  • High-resolution logos of the project and company (JPEG/PNG format)

  • Ten (10) high-resolution photographs (interior and exterior)

  •  A brief promotional/overview video of the project

For Mixed-Use Developments:

  • Nominated project must include at least three (3) distinct primary components (e.g., residential, commercial, office).

  • Auxiliary or support services do not qualify as primary components.

 

For Residential High/Mid/Low Rise, parameters as per International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) standards:

  • Low Rise: 1-10 floors

  • Mid Rise: 11-25 floors

  • High Rise: 26+ floors

Note: All submitted materials become the property of the organizing committee and will not be returned.

 

 


5. Language of Submission

 

All entries must be submitted in English & Arabic


 
6. Use of Submitted Materials
 

Materials from winning projects may be used for:

  • Official publications

  • Media coverage and global press releases

  • Awards Gala presentation

  • Local and international promotional campaigns

  • Official event videos and social media features

 


 
7. Awards Ceremony & Attendance

Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Night on January 27, 2026, during the Real Estate Future Forum in Riyadh.

  • Attendance is mandatory to receive the award.

  • Global press coverage and public recognition will follow.

 


 
8. Key Dates

  • REA’25 Submission Deadline - August 31, 2025

  • REA’25 Shortlist Announcement - November 17, 2025

  • REA’25 Winners Announcement - January 27, 2026 - RFF2026, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

  • FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Award - June 11, 2026 - Vienna, Austria
